Tom joined The Spine Center in December, 2007. In his prior role, he worked for orthopedic surgeons, primarily with shoulders and knees. The Spine Center offered him a chance to broaden the scope of his skills. Tom has always been interested in movement, sports and how the body works. After serving in the United States Navy for 8 years, Tom chose physical therapy because it combined his interests with his desire to help people. He received his Associate’s Degree of Applied Science for Physical Therapy Assistance from Davenport University in 2003.
Tom is originally from Livingston County, so he decided to return to Michigan after traveling the world. He is married with one 11 month-old daughter and a second child on the way. Favorite past-times include golf, long-distance running, and spending time with his family. Tom also volunteers as a fundraiser for Big Brothers/Big Sisters.
