Karen Balboa, PTA

Karen Balboa joined the Spine Center in June of 2011. She graduated from the PTA Program at Kellogg Community College and also has a Bachelor’s Degree in Sports Medicine/Athletic Training from Central Michigan University. 

She has several years of experience in outpatient physical therapy and has worked as an athletic trainer in both the high school and collegiate settings. Karen offers expertise in rehabilitation of the shoulder and knees and has attended several continuing education courses for manual therapy and joint mobilization of the extremities.
 
Karen feels it is important to provide patients one on one care with individualized treatment plans. Her goal is to help patients return to a functional level so they may be able to enjoy life to the fullest.
